First Molars

Hi guys. DS is almost 10 months old and already has 8 teeth. He has pretty much got them all in order of all the books and the last week has been failry irritable during the night and keeps grabbing at his gums right up the back. Of course its impossible for me to have a look in there because he just screams. He has been waking 1 - 3 times a night just SCREAMING and when i go into him he has his finger in his mouth chewing down hard. Just wondering if he could be getting them? What age did your little ones get them?

My DD has been exactly the same and she is 10 months old.
We have just finished 4 nights of unbeleivable sleep deprivation - crying, screaming, constantly waking
She has been pulling her hair behind her ears (not an ear infection - went to Dr), chewing and drooling
The good news is the tooth finally popped out of the gum last night and it was a top one towards the back, she slept normally again after this
The bad news is she has another 7 teeth at the back and sides to go!
