1st time mummy & new to the Gold Coast

:D Hiya. I am a first time mum and new to bubhub. I moved to the Gold Coast (Runaway Bay) after being in London for a few years (but originally from Sydney) bout 2 years ago and have found it a bit hard to make new friends here. I thought once sophie-bub was born that I would make lots of new exciting friends with new mums. Problem is I had to go back to work full-time when sophiebub was 6 weeks old. Unlike SAHM's I can't really make it to playgroups etc. to meet other new mummies. Pretty much all playgroups, pram pushing clubs etc are geared towards SAHM and usually meet at 10am on weekdays. I am v. keen to meet other mums who are in a similar posi to me or any other mums who might be interested in meeting up for a coffee (for grownups) and playtime (for cuties) on weekends. Having said that I am always keen to meet new people and would certainly not discriminate on the basis of whether or not you are employed or a SAHM!! So, fingers crossed :fingerscrossed: . Hello there SimmyMummy !

I've just moved up to the Gold Coast from Sydney a few months ago. My baby girl Melissa is 11 months old. We are in Robina.

It is surprisingly difficult to meet new friends here - especially with a baby to look after. You'd think with a kid it would be a lot easier !
