I saw that a lot of you girls like Baby BeeHinds, so i went ahead and ordered the trial daytime nappy pack. Is it any good???

I'm also thinking of ordering the nighttime one. How is that?? Is the wool a PITA?!!!

I bought some motherease OS nappys the other day, so hopefully they will be cool. Anyone uses these??? (i bought some PUL covers off ebay the other day and they are beautiful)

Sorry for all the questions!! I have only been using one kind of nappy, and i've decided to branch out (cus it's so addicting!!!!!!!!!!)

Hello

Yes the Babybeehind pack is worthwhile.
No the wool covers are not a pain in the a$$ ( Im presuming that is what your abbreviation meant???) Once you get the hang of lanolising wool it is easy peasy  Just dont wash the wool in hot water ( I just hand wash mine in cold)

A lot of people find the hemp nappies are a little stiff or crunchy after drying on the line, just pop them in a clothes dryer for about 10 mins after they come off the line and that usually does the trick to soften them up. If you dont have a dryer, try screwing them up in your hands....this also softens them up.

Good luck

Thanks for your help!! (yes i did mean pain in the A$$ haha)

I do have a dryer, so that sounds good then!! I liked the idea of the hemp over the bamboo, as the hemp looked as though it wouldn't pill, as much as the bamboo would?!!! is this right?!!!

A little pilling will not make the performance of bamboo any different, it is still super absorbant.
To be honest I dont know if it would pill, I have two of the older style bamboo (ie the plain ones) and they havent pilled.
Bamboo is soooo soft against the skin but takes longer to dry. I would try one of each to see what you like.

I love the bamboo and want more.

Shouldnt be a problem if they catch it in time before dispatching your order.
Davina is very accommodating and if you provide in your email your phone number she will proberly phone. Do be aware that she will have been inundated in orders so will no doubt have loads to get through. You wont be disappointed with the hemp. But you will love the bamboo too.

What i ended up doing was emailing her to tell her to cancel my day time trial pack, and then bought the day/night pack (with the wool cover!!!) and paid the difference.

Do you know if the day/night combo is good??? I also got one bamboo and one hemp, so i can see the difference!!!

Yes they are good. You are buying the same nappies (hemp or bamboo) just getting a few extras in the pack. Dont worry you will use it all and wont have wasted your money  . If you do find that Babybeehind products arent what you think you want to have your baby in, you can always sell....they have a great reputation and a good resale value. Just remember that the nappies will need to be washed lots of times to reach their full absorbancy. I just threw them in with my normal washes (in a tied up pillowcase if you had something that would put fluff onto them). Be careful not to use too much washing powder. You will get an instruction sheet from Babybeehinds with all the details on them.

Good luck:smiliedance:

BB's are good and Davina's customer service is superb!

Wool isn't a PITA to use, actually easier because you only have to wash them every few weeks. Just remember to lanolise them.

Motherease OS - I'm not a fan. They are not absorbant enough for my heavy wetter and they seem very wide at the crotch so we always ended up with saggy bits. I never trusted it for explosive poos. The ME covers are fantastic though.
