Would love to know what allergy friendly party foods others have made successfully and for which allergies they suited. I am always on the look out for something a bit different or unusual to the normal stuff around (aka trying to avoid things like fairy bread, hot dogs and sausage rolls;))
Thanks in advance

DD1 is allergic to dairy, eggs and tree nuts.

At her parties we've had carrot and zucchini muffins, apple and cinammon scones a big fruit platter full of colourful fruits, home made caramel popcorn, jelly cups (home made - as in used jelly crystals), at christmas my mum made frozen santas and snowmen out of soy yoghurt (you could do fruit ones too). We've had small bowls of natural confectionary company lollies and pascall marshmallows. We've never done fairy bread but it could be done with nutellex butter (dairy free).

For meals we just do a BBQ - so depending on where and how many people we do a sausage sizzle with sausages that we know are safe for them to have or I make honey and soy chicken and vegetable kebabs. We have salads (a garden salad and another one that has baby spinach leaves, capsicum, cherry tomatoes, carrot and roasted pumpkin, potato and onion. It can be served hot or cold and there's never any left. You just add a 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and two tablespoons of balsamic vinegar to the vegies once they are cooked and mix it all in).

there are so many things to choose from. I have made GF/DF/NF/SF sausage rolls, fruit salads are great, as are fruit dipped in chocolate or for DF use sweet william chocolate.

Muffins done with GF flour, nuttelex and rice milk are all GF/DF/SF....

GF/DF/SF sponge cake.

The thing im not experienced at is NF....

missy_mack, what particular allergens are you trying to avoid? I have heaps of recipes, but need an idea of which ones would be suitable first...
