OPK Help

Am new to the whole OPK thing as up till now I have mostly relied on scans and blood tests to tell if I'm ovulating so I haven't stressed to much about my OPK results. However this month I am doing it without FS help and I am a bit confused
- I did an OPK this afternoon then got caught up and didn't read the results till an hour later. It was positive but I am not sure if that was because I left it too long
I did another one and it got a light test line (which I have never had previously) within the 5 mins but then again went darker past the time limit.

any ideas on what this means?

I've never had a drama with OPK's getting darker after the time limit.

I would tend to go with the result with in the time limit to be safe. What time did you take the last one? You may have been leading up to your LH surge.

How many do you normaly do? Sorry I'm not being much help. I normally do my OPK's at 6pm and they have always been accurate for me. I only test once a day. But that works for me you may need to test a couple of times a day.
