Their poo's don't smell as bad .

12month old DS2 has had a temp the last couple of days and is totally of his solids. He was throwing up after food (but still tolerating breast feeds) and then after wednesdays brekkie came up he has flat our refused every solid he has been offered (apart from a s/w today that he puked up 10mins later!). The good news.....nurse advises that so long as he is still b/f and weeing enough - it's OK (provided nothing else changes) and his poo has gone back to the no-where near as smelly mustard breast-fed poo's!! It's like having a new bubba again. Here's hoping he gets well again fast - but in the meantime - it is awesome to know that at 12months he is still able to get enough calories and hydration from mummies breastmilk until he gets over whatever virus/bug he has. :hugs:

Awww! They're the perfect painkiller after vaccinations! DD always feels better after a b/f :)

Breastfeeding used to be such a blessing when DS was sick. Now he's not bf any more, I'm a bit lost when he's sick TBH.

We have a virus going around our family (onto our forth week now grrrrr), and I love knowing that DD2 is receiving protection from the bugs. Even though she is sick, she hasn't been anywhere near as sick as the rest of us!

Breastfeeding rocks :yelclap:
