I think i misscarried?????? Its pretty grose Sorry

Yesterday i had my first real period in like 2 years cause i've been pregnant basicaly the last 2 years and i dont get one when i breastfeed. DS2 has been off 4 about a month and since i stopped i've been thinking i was pregnant for about 2 or so weeks, which with me i usually am! Anyway i done a test and it came up a weak postive soo faint that it took about 5 minutes to show up so i wasnt too concerned cause this is how i found out with my first pregnancy after my first (which we lost at 7 weeks). then the day before yesterday i started bleeding so i thought hey must not be pregnant. then i was in soo much pain i couldnt move and im the sorta person that can handle a lot a pain i mean i gave birth to DH2 with no drugs and while in hard labour i was cleaning my house! Anyway back to the point doing my usual shower before bed i got undressed and in my pad was a tiny clot and i thought nothing of it the i relised it was two different colours one end pale pink and the other was the colour of placenta it was about 4 cm long too which is a bit strange. i took a closer look and seen little stumps on the top and bottom and 2 black dots on the end of it. u may think im on drugs but i spun out! Grose i know. Sorry i know u guys probably dont wanna hear about it but i need to know if this has ever happened to anyone else!

I had a misscarriage once and i still remember the exact time the baby left my body, it was a bit clot in the toilet at the doctors and it was very sad to know i had to flush it away.

It can definatley be a bit traumatising to see your baby like that... even if it is very very small.

thankx guys! i thought it was a misscarraige. it wasnt like we were trying for another one or anything but i knew i was preggars. it is sad to think about it but i suppose this stuff happens. Do u guys think i should go to the doctor? im not sure if u could still tell i was pregnant?

Whilst I was miscarrying the hospital did a HCG blood test which came back 'equivacal'..........the blood test was then repeated 48 hours later which confirmed no HCG and no longer a pregnancy.

Sorry to hear what you've been through :hugs: I remember being terrified of seeing something like that each time I had to go to the toilet :crying:

when i miscarried at 12weeks i had the worst cramps and then passed a big clot into the toilet. i did not look closely at it. i had a d&c afterwards.

Might be a wise idea to see your Dr regarding this.

When I miscarried in June 2005, although I knew it had, I went to my GP straight away. From here they checked HCG levels and also conducted an u/s (just incase I was carrying twins and had only lost one), and to also check to see if I needed a D&C.
