My 10 week old bub has started pooping again mulitple times a day. Usually everytime i feed her. Only thing is, its really dark green. Im currently battling a cold but other than that nothing has changed in my diet. What could be causing this? She is fully breastfed and I am making sure she is draining one breast before offering the other

could there be something wrong with my milk?
As far as I can remember, bf bubbies and their poops has a wide range of normal. From dark green to bright yellow, from 1 every 10 days to 10 every 1 day.
Does she appear to be in any sort discomfort when she goes?

SMB, I think there are a couple of schools of thought on green poos.
One is that there is a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance, the other is that it isn't a problem. I would say that if Miss B is otherwise happy and content then she should be fine.

She seems happy enough the rest of the time(just with a sore bottem from pooping alot) although she strains a fair bit when she is going

hi,
our health nurse told us that our DD's dark green poo mean that she was getting all the iron she needed and it it that colour due to the excess (so is good) but she is fully FF,
hope that helps.
Mine did this and i remember researching it and i think it had something to do with lactose in my milk.
