Well, I was throwing up yesterday and this morning but my husband and I thought it was gastro, but just to amuse ourselves I bought a pregnancy test. I tested "POSITIVE" this morning! Now I guess I don't have to mention that this is very unplanned and I only just had twins 4 months ago, so I am in a spot of bother. Firstly, is it possible the test is wrong? I have heard that you can get positive results after you have just been pregnant, but not sure if 4 months is soon or late etc. I really, really, really don't know what to do? I mean 3 kids under 1???!!!!!!?
I think your title says it all. Hop off to the doc's and get a blood test. Not sure about the pee tests after birth with false readings, sorry. All I can say is good luck.
I supose it is possible but I would hav thought by 4 months you would be all clear an the test would be right at that stage....
I was preggie with #2 at four months also and the test was right (was testing negative from bout 2/3 months...
3 under one would be a challenge!!:D But I am sure everything will work out ok:hugs: Good luck with everything and hope all goes well :fingerscrossed:
Hey TT, I want to say congrats, and good luck.
Other than that I don't know what to say! I'm sure you'll be fine though.

Good luck with this, it sounds scarry to have 3 under the age of 1 but it might not be too bad, do you have a supportive family that could help? I also think that any new life is such a precious thing so try to look on the bright side :hugs:
CONGRATS !!
Congratulations! My aunty had three kids under 13 months. She had twins at 31 weeks gestation (with a 13 month old at home), and only found out she was having twins at 30 weeks. Her twins were very sick, one in particular and they required lots and lots of extra care. Now they are 28 and 29 years old and the best of friends! My aunty says she wouldn't have done it any other way!

you know i dont want to burst your bubble, but you did have twins so you could be looking at another set:eek: :D
congratulations.
i'm not sure how to express my thoughts, but i figure you will be pretty good at mumming after being a twin mum for 12mths and so when the lo comes along, if it's a single baby, maybe you will even find it easier...?

Well to be honest, looking after 2 kids is very hard, especially when they are twins, so I am not sure that a 3rd will be any easier, but I am looking on the positive side, at least I am getting it all done quickly!

I tested positive three months after the birth of DS, turns out i wasnt. but i would definately be off for a blood test!
Good luck and make sure you let us know!
A really good friend of mine had a baby and when she was 2mths old found out she was pregnant again. The second pregnancy was twins so she had 3 in 11 mths. Life was hard for her for a while but she managed and so will you. Now her babies are 5 and 6 she says its great!!! They are all good friends and she wouldnt have it any other way.
So......... CONGRATS to you and your fast growing family.
Wow and congrats to you:yelclap: ..

Hey there T&T!! Congrats!! :smiliedance: :smiliedance:
It will be daunting at times no doubt but we are never made to mange with more then we can cope with! You are already a wonderful mummy, I'm sure of it, and your family will be so blessed. You are certainly very lucky, and it's likely your children will grow up to support, respect and have fun with each other throughout their entire childhood!
:hugs:
Hi TT,
Just want to give you some encouragement. When my nephew had just turned one my brother and his wife found out they were expecting triplets!!! She was already 14 weeks by the time she saw the Dr and the babies were born at 35 weeks - all strong and healthy. So they had 4 under 18 months!
There is no doubting it was hard but they managed. Now they have 4 beautiful children aged 5 and 3.5. It's a great family.
You can do this - you probably don't think you can but it's amazing what you can adapt to. Also don't hold back on asking for help, it's out there and people will help you!

Congrats to you Jiann, :yelclap: (though no doubt it doesn't feel like that yet...)
You will be flat stick for a while there, but don't be afraid to ask (or make that yell!) for help if and when you might need it...
