We just bought a place in Sandringham (YAY) and are moving there in time for Term 3. I have schools sorted but now need to work out kids sport.

Can anyone reccomend a good dance school and a good jujitsu school? If not jujitsu then a good martial arts school He has only done 1 term of Jujitsu so could transfer to Karate or Tae Kwon Do.

Somewhere within a 15min drive of Sandringham would be good

Thanks

I don't know if this is further than 15 minutes away but there's a good dojo in moorabin... I don't know the street but it's not far from the station and pretty much opposite the safeway on the left hand side of nepean highway heading away fr the city if that makes sense. Let me know if u want me to find out specifics for ya. I wouldn't waste any time with takewondo... I went once and found it to be completely unrealistic and useless if u ever needed to actually defend urself.

I have no idea about dance schools though! Good luck finding places :)

i used to live in the area and before we moved my sister went to Cherill Rowsten school of ballet in Black Rock (5, 10 mins from sandringham) and it was a great dance school.

there dance concerts were always great ! and she did saturday morning classes but there were also afternoon classes

they dont just do ballet. they do tap, jazz, funk, classical etc :)
