Maybe a park if nice weather or maybe KidzBiz

my3lilmonkeys: what area/places would work best for you? I personally don't drive iether so i know how hard public transport with kids can be. Lucky for me i have a very supportive partner who will drive me anywhere i want:valentine:

Hi, my name is Emma Klingberg. I live in Adelaide and I am a Registered nurse working at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and studying my Bachelor of midwifery at Uni SA. I am looking for women who may be pregnant and would be interested in having a student midwife follow them through there pregnancy and delivery. It would involve some antenatal appointments, delivery and Post natal checkups. I am looking to deliver/assist in delivery of 40+ babies in order for me to be able to graduate. If anyone in interested or knows someone who is interested and lives in the Adelaide region feel free to contact me at for some information on what would be required from both you as the parent and me as the student midwife. I realise that many women/men would not be keen on this, however I believe that it gives people extra support and someone else to turn to for questions especially if there are mothers out there who may be doing this alone and do not have a support network to turn to. I believe that I could be of real help to you all. Please contact me via phone/msg on 0401529479 or email me at klies001@students.unisa.edu.au (klies001@students.unisa.edu.au)
By being a student midwife with women it will allow me to have continuity care and help gain and improve my skills on becoming a fantastic midwife and a women’s advocate!
Thankyou
Emma Klingberg

Hi. Im Alarna, I drive, work part time at night and have 3 year old emilie and 5 year old bayden.
Im 28 this month and im relaxed, love cheap shops and hungry jacks mmm (also love the playground of the one near my house in paralowie)

Did you want to have a playtime somewhere? I dont know brahma Lodge to well but if you wanted to catch up with the 3 year olds we could?
Im having a bit of trouble with the mums at school and they annoy me standing in groups gossiping.

Hi, I have an almost 6 month old and I live in Ingle Farm, towards Salisbury way. I don't know many mums and I have been looking for mothers groups or playgroups etc. I'm a first time mum so I'm kinda just looking for people to talk to who understand parenting. :)

I'm in Enfield.... so I don't know if its north/west/east as it gets put into all those categories! But I am pretty familiar with the northern suburbs due to ex's, friends etc living out that way.

I have 2 - DS 2.5 and DD nearly 1

Hi Everyone.
Im Kerri and i have a 4yr old daughter Chelsea that attends the Munno Para Kindergarten and loving it.
I live with my parents and my daughter at Munno Para. Before I had my daughter I lived at Salisbury North, then i moved in with my daughter's dad for a bit til things went sour and that was at Elizabeth vale. I did attend bubhub mummy groups and have attended 2 huggies mummy groups.

Fremont Park, Kersbrook Park are two great spots to meet.
Kidz Biz Cafe (Salisbury East) is a great place and its run through the local church. For a 3yr old its $3 to play. Meals are nice.
Snakes and Ladders (Gawler) is a good place to meet n let kids go wild. birth to 1yr old is free, 2yr old to 3yr old $4.50, 4yrs old to 12yr old $6.50...and their meals are nice too.
Bubbles Indoor cafe (Golden Grove) is expensive entry for kids but their meals are fairly priced.

Hi,
we´re a german couple and we are travelling to Australia in 5 weeks:hyper:. We have got a son who is 10months old and we have got a general question. What can we do to protect him from the sun? Are there any special lotions which are especially for babys? Maybe anyone can give us some tips...
thanks a lot everybody

Hi There,

I would suggest you buy some baby sunscreen which you can but at a local supermarket once you get here and a wide brimmed hat for him to wear once he gets here.
Also here in Oz they advice to stay out of the sun between 10am-2pm as it tends to be the hottest part of the day. It will not be possible especially if you want to sight see. I would just say try and stay in shade if possible and reapply sunscreen all the time aswell as the hat and he should be fine.

Hey all, I'm from Enfield n(I also don't know what catergory Enfield fits in! Pretty sure it's North) and a mum-to-be without kids (yet ;D) would love to make friends from any suburb, especially with other mum's to be, haven't really got strong friendships right now :( it gets lonely in the female department (meaning I miss girl talk and girl company, I got DP who is great but he's not a chick friend lol)

Hi I'm a mum of two in Greenwith. I would love to catch up with some mums. I can travel to most areas in the north eastern suburbs if anyone is interested in doing a catch up at a park or playground. My little ones are 4yrs and 8 months
