DS has been waking every 20mins during the evening  , so last night it hit me he might not be ready for bed at 6.30pm! We got him up around 9pm (tired of re-settling!) and he happily played on his own for an hour, not tired at all! The only problem was that he was then unsettled for the rest of the night after the break in routine ...

What's your evening routine? What time does your bub get up in the morning, and do they wake in the night?

Thanks! :D

Luka goes to bed at 7.30pm at the latest. He wakes a few times at night, but will self settle now, and mummy can go back to sleep. He generally wakes up at 6ish... And he has two naps a day, around 2 hours each nap.

The dude is one.

I put my 4.5mth old to sleep around 7:30pm after a bath and feed and play. He doesnt wake up until 7-8 in the morning. If he does go to bed to early he sometimes wakes at 5-6am for a feed but then goes back to sleep again :D

er anytime between 7.30-8.30at night. BUt its generally the same routine. Just depends on whether or not we have to nurse DD or not.

My 5 and a half month old goes down by 7.30 (anywhere between 6.30 and 7.30, usually around 7) and he'll sleep til about 2.30 - 3 and then he drives me crazy! Awake every hour or so but not wanting to feed. I'm hoping it's just a phase! By 5am he usually has gone back into a deep sleep and won't wake until around 7.

Aaliyah goes down between 7 and 7.30 if i let her she would stay up for ages and just be irritable and crying cause she is overtired. she ussually has 2 naps during the day depending on what we're doing. Up until a few weeks ago she was in bed wit me (used her cot for washing) it was weird cause since she has been in cot i started having nightmares that something happen to her and would quickly run in and make sure she was breathing. Dunno must be me just getting use to her not being there and getting use to it, but ussually she ends up in bed with me in morning :ecomcity: lol

DD goes to bed between 6pm - 7:30pm. She sleeps all night then wakes at about 7am. Thru the day she usually only has one sleep, from around 11:30am, she will sleep for between 1hr - 4hrs. If she has a long day sleep then her bedtime is later, she has very obvious tired signs so we generally just put her to bed when she seems tired.

DD usually goes to bed between 9pm - 10pm, and she sleeps through until 7am - 8am. This fits in beautifully with DH's work hours etc.

DS2 decided from very early on that he wanted his bedtime to be 6:30pm. He usually wakes up at around 7am, so he gets a good sleep.

Oliver is 16 weeks and he has the same routine. He sometimes has a snooze in the arvo...and we give him a dream feed at 10-1030.

He's generally waking once a night for a feed, and once a night when he unwraps himself and wakes up cold.... Then wakes around 6am...and most of the time will resettle until 7am.

DS1 goes to bed at 8pm and is always awake by 5am (curse daylight saving!!). I could put him to bed at 3am and he would STILL wake up at 5.

DD goes to bed at 8, I have to wake her at 7 each day, she usually wakes at around 9 on weekends though.

My DD who is nearly 12 mths, goes to sleep at 7pm and gets up 7am and only in the last month or so has finally given up her last bf during the night, so she's sleeping through :smiliedance: She has done it intermittently since she was 5 mths, with varying degrees of consistency, due to either illness or mainly teething or probably habit/comfort. Its taken us a while to get her to this bedtime, as previously she would resist sleep til 9.30pm.

DD goes to bed at 10pm. DP is an apprentice chef...so his hours are horrible (10am-10pm). By pushing our awake and sleeps hours back, it means we can spend more time with DP and HIS waking-clock when he's home.

DD usually wakes up around 9.30-10am. No night-time feeds or anything either.

Since my son was 2 months he started sleeping through the night, he would go down at 6-7pm, then wake up at 7-8am. Althought he is now 12months, and goes down between 7-7.30pm he now wakes up between 5.30-6am, sometimes if I'm lucky he will sleep until about 7.30am.

He doesn't take a bottle to bed 9as he now only drinks from a cup) and most of the time he doesn't need a milk to get to sleep..

I have been really lucky with him.....

My 7 month old twins are normally asleep by 6 - 6.30 pm wake once or twice each during the night and then up around 5am :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

They are both teething and going through a growth spurt so i get nothing done during the day so do most of my housework at night, so i normally only get a few hours sleep at night
