hi,
just wondering if anyone knows of any good places to take a 10month old. we go swimming on weekends- i know there is library things on...but anything else that anyone else does?
i start full time work soon and he goes into childcare so i want to spend the next few months doing as much as i can with him...and see his little smile :)
thanks....

Hi iyaree,
I started taking my son to playgroup when he was about 10 months and he loved it. He gets to play with new toys and finds the other children interesting to look at. I liked that it is so affordable (only a gold coin donation + the annual PlaygroupSA fee of $40) I also like that it's flexible so I only pay when I'm able to go and it goes for 2 hours so a lot of the time since DS has a nap around the same time its on, we'll rock up an hour late and he'll still get a benefit out of going. A lot of the other children are a little older at the particular playgroup we go to (about 18 months) so I brought a friend and her son who's the same age.

You could also try Kindergym although, personally I prefer playgroup for the reasons I mentioned above.

I also heard Wacky Warehouse at Newton is supposed to be good.
