Hi there,

I'm preparing a spell for focus, particularly focus at work.

What do you think of, when you think about focus? I'm trying to find a physical representation of it, but am a bit stumped at the moment!

Any suggestions or ideas would be welcomed.... Thanks! :wizard:

It may sound odd, but I would use a pin. To represent not only sharpness of vision, but also pinpoint concentration IYKWIM.

I can check some of the books I have here if youlike - I'm sure there's some ideas in there you can use.

Nonny, What a brilliant idea! That is fantastic because I can also use it to inscribe my candles. :yelclap:

I was thinking about using a print out of my (hugely overloaded) weekly schedule as well to aim it specifically at work.

I'd love you to check your sources, I've been through every book I have and nothing is really speaking to me. Thank you!

I checked my books briefly but all I could find was in relation to symbols, candle colours, herns and crystals etc, which I assume you're already on top of.

The other thought I had was maybe a blade of some sort? Obviously I still can't get away from the "sharpness" angle LOL

Or perhaps reading glasses, magnifying glass etc?

And TRIANGLES!

Mandalas help me focus...help me mediate and relax, etc. Dunno if that's helpful to you though..

Excellent ideas! It's times like these I wish I had an athame!

But I really like the pin - I'm thinking check boxes on my To Do List and each one gets pinned, or a "Completed" Check Box on the list that gets pinned/ticked.

Alternatively the magnifying glass is good - maybe focused on my work logo.

I do like to burn my writings though, so I'm thinking the list with the pin, then burned, and my crystals (tigers eye and fluorite) wafted through the smoke and flame.

Then I can take the crystals and pin into work. Bugger about fire alarms - I'd love to be able to have my candles at work!!!

Thanks so much!

Thanks Tam. I do love Mandalas, they are beautiful. I wonder if I could stick one over my computer screen?? :p Might be defeating the purpose...

But I think I will try and find one to make a small print out of and at least have it in my desk for when I feel frazzled.

 I reckon if I stuck one to my client's foreheads I might be more productive. Dunno if they'd like it much though :p

Hey now, if it helps you be more productive which in turn helps your client.... well - I say you go for it!
Just tell them it's a new procedure.

Have you considered sticking a PIN into their forehead? ;) A happy worker is a productive worker, and nothing would make me happier than seeing a few pain in the bum client get "pinned". hehe
