I want to get Liam his own little cup to drink water out of, as he's constantly trying to drink out of my glass. He has a sippy cup but he doesn't like that, so I'd prefer a baby friendly regular cup with handles. Any recommendations?

I'm having the same issue with DS at the moment. Won't sip, just chews, but as soon as you take the top off the sipper cup, he'll drink. I've seen Avent and Tommee Tippee cups with detachable handles on them. Maybe check at Kmart or Big W? I'm fairly sure that's where I've seen them.
Good luck with it
Theres a Tommee Tippee one that has the sippy top on it that can also be used without the lid like a normal cup. I saw it in Target today, it's got 2 handles and the spout is the kind that just folds over to shut it.
Have a look in the stage one section here (http://www.tommeetippee.com.au/p-feeding.asp?pk=1), the sip'n'seal cup looks like the one I saw today.
I have also seen some that are like a normal cup but they have a lid with a small hole in it so bub doesn't tip the drink all over themselves. I think that may have also been a Tommee Tippee one, can't see them on the website tho.

I've invested in what I think are the best spill proof cups available.
They're called mess less cups. They are not a 'teat' type cup but if you're looking for something with large handles, indestructable and spill proof you won't go wrong with these. I love them...and so does my carpet, lounge suite, car upholstery, Quinny & floors!!!

The mess less cups from Kala are excellent! My DD1 still uses one sometimes as she doesn't tend to spill it everywhere then. Very easy to suck from, and great for in the car! The sipper part also fits onto a standard pop-top drink bottle, which is handy!
Otherwise, i have a Heinz baby basics 3 stage cup, that started out with DD1. It has a soft spout first, then a lid with a rim and a small hole to drink out of while they're learning, then a lid just with the rim to help them direct the drink to their mouth, instead of going all over them so much! I bought it a couple of years ago now, from Coles, but haven't seen them in there since. I'm sure they're still around though!

I love Advent range, no drips at all. Have handles that you can take on and off, with a lid too. And really easy to use and clean
