As some of you may know, I tested this afternoon and BFN. AF is approx 2 days late.

Now, what I want to know, is can using first morning urine make a difference? And how much .... ie - has anyone done a test with daytime wee wee and got a negative only to use FMU and get a positive ?

Just curious - I've never put so much thought into conceiving and it's doing my head in and it's only been 1 month :(

I know I shouldn't, I should wait a few days before testing again, but I'm going to test in the morning using FMU. Norty Norty me :( :(

First morning urine is suppose to be more concentrated. They also say to avoid liquids for a few hours before testing if you are doing it in the afternoon! Good luck and I hope you get a BFP!

FMU is definitely advised if testing before AF is due (as levels of HcG are so low, FMU concentrates the result), but my understanding is that once AF is due, FMU is no longer required, as HcG levels should have risen enough to show. Having said that, if you had very late implantation (eg 12dpo), then it may not show and so FMU would be better. FMU certainly can't hurt!
