is it possible to cook rice in a slowcooker??
if so how much water to a cup of rice?
and if not.. HOW do u cook rice so its not gluggy.
I don't think you could do it like that. I could be wrong. Maybe adding Rice to a dish that your cooking, but not by it's self.
I all ways use a Rice cooker. It's the only way I can cook it.

If you want rice that's not gluggy, then rinse it two or three times before cooking, until the rinsing water is clear. (Do this by covering the ricewith water, and swishing it around before strainging the water off, then repeat).
To cook rice on the stove, I use 1C rice, to 1.5C water, bring water to the boil, add rice, cover it, turn to the lowest setting you have for 15 minutes, then turn the heat off and let the pot stand for another 5 minutes.
In the entire time it's cooking, DO NOT LIFT THE LID.... no matter what!
