Good lord! Andrew has been developing in leaps and bounds this week. After making his first roll over from tummy to back a fortnight ago, today he has been rolling over at every opportunity! I'm soooo proud of him. I just love him more and more every day.

HOWEVER!

Today he also learnt how to do a blood-curdling scream! For no reason! He's perfectly happy, he's just learnt how to use his vocal cords, and has found a scream that he loves to practice.

But its driving me bonkers!! He screams until he is red in the face and keeps on going until he needs to take a breath! There is no apparent reason for this - no pain, no hunger, no dirty nappy! Arrrgghh!!!

Thank god he is down to sleep for the night now. I need a few hours of SILENCE!

Silly naive me thought the screaming-for-the-fun-of-it stage wouldn't hit until he was a toddler!

So cute when they roll over! Tayla isn't interested in it just yet at 6.5 months!

Ahh the screaming - she discovered how to squeal a few weeks ago and has since stopped but now has got into the baby growl and she does it all the time so we think she is upset about something but it is just her making the noise and discovering her voice!!

Prefer my growl over your screams though!

Braydens the same he doesn't scream though, he yells at the top of his lungs! I don't know if his getting upset or just playing! His also rolling all over the place, his never where I leave him anymore :( (he shuffles on his tummy!) Oh well guess I'll finally have to start childproofing!

Yes, childproofing! Gotta get onto that. Andrew is also doing the shuffling thing on his tummy too - he'll be crawling in no time, he sees something he wants and finds a way to get to it!

Its sure gonna change things once he is mobile - at least now i can leave him alone in a room while i go to the loo and be sure he wont' have moved too far, or into danger. But once he crawls....how the heck am i gonna get anything done!!! Oh, its gonna be fun!

Hi Nicole79
You son is very cute :)
How did you get his photo up there like that?
Our sone is almost 9mths and is almost walking(well kinda) his been crawling since about 6mths now he puts himself up onto the windo sill and stands there untill he plops onto is bottom.
Its hard to keep up at times though. I also look after another little boy who is only 3 weeks younger and god love him, he just sits there waiting for me to get him.
Ah but his great.
Love to hear from you.
