Hi !
First of all, I'd like to tell you I am a French Canadian so... excuse my English :D but I can't find anything in french related to this topic, so I decided to join you
The doctor discovered this morning that I had a low Papp-A rate (0,22 instead of at least 0,44, which is quite low apparently). All the rest is fine and there is no risk of any chromosomic problem whatsoever apparently. They are much more concerned about risks concerning the baby due to high blood pressure, pre-eclampsia, etc. in the future (right now everything is fine, I am 12 weeks pregnant)
The doctor added that it sounded dangerous, said like that, BUT that it was quite experimental, that I should NOT worry, etc. Easy to say after you hear such a thing
What do you think of that ?
Thanks
