I'm wondering if anyone has sucessfully breastfed with breast implants. I fed my DD until she was 3yo and then had the implants done. They are under the muscle and were inserted in the breast fold, not through the nipple.
Providing all goes well with this pregnancy, i would like to be able to breastfeed.

Maybelline - im glad to hear that you had no problems with it.
1+1=5 - thanks! :D
cupcakes - i actually had a small complication that needs fixing anyway so if they do sag a bit I'll be getting them fixed up afterwards anyway. id rather breastfeed then redo them, than not breastfeed.
Mrs N - thanks for that, ill have a look.
I was reading up on this for my LC course today. It varies, but there's no reason you shouldn't try, seems to be the conclusion. It depends on where the incision is, and if it's under the breast that's better than under the arm. If you have normal nipple sensation you should be ok. People sometimes have problems because they didn't have enough breast tissue to begin with, which is why they had implants, but that won't effect you as you've breastfed before.
I have implants under my pectoral muscles and had no trouble BF at all :) I understand that if you have implants just under the skin, it can damage the milk ducts and make BF difficult.
