Hi :) I'm not from Tamworth, we're up the road a bit in Uralla. I don't think this sub forum is used much, so I am not sure how successful you'll be trying to find others in your area on here, but if you ever want a chat you can drop me a line :) I have three kids, age from 5 to 8 months, and my sister lives nearby and has just had her first child who is 2 months. You could always join a playgroup, that can be a great way to get out of the house, and even if your baby cant play, it is still good to get out and socialise with other mums, I know it helped me alot! I go to playgroup here, If you feel like making the trip up for the day you are welcome to join us :D

Hi everone,

I have just moved to Tamworth, not knowing anyone as we moved here for hubby's work and we would like to permanently live here!!
Problem: No family about, and havent' made any friends as yet! Please help me.

Im in my early early 30's!! So i still consider myself as a young mum! I have 2 gorgeous children. My daugher (11 years) has made friends already from school..so really its just me and my 3 year old son that needs to make friends. Be great to have someone over for a cuppa and kids have a play together sometimes, meet at parks, or meet at playgroups and other social groups. My boy goes to preschool wed and fri so other days of the week are free for us to go out and do something!

Please any young at heart mums in the Tamworth area that want to make a new friend, post to me.
