teeth grinding

hey all,
wondering if i should worry or not???
my 7 1/2 month old son has got 4 top teeth and two at the bottom, occasionally when he is getting tired or frustrated i hear him grind his teeth. i think his other two bottoms ones are coming...could they be sore and that's why he is doing it?...i cant imagine a bubby has stress (which is the usual cause of teeth grinding)

has anyone else had this problem..will it go away?

i cant see any damage to his teeth but then again i cant really get a good look or feel as he tries to bite me :)

Hi there

I have 2 toddlers ... the 2 1/2 yo delighted in grinding his teeth at various stages ... when he first got his top and bottom teeth .. when his incisors arrived .. when his molars turned up. Each of these stages didn't last too long but the sound was like fingernails on a chalk board to me! All bubs do different things when they're tired .. some pull their ears, some rub their eyes, others whinge endlessly and some grind their teeth. He could also just be doing it because they're there!

I wouldn't worry ... life is endlessly fascinating for babies and there is always something new to play with on their bodies. Mine simply plays with his penis.
