In case Taringa and Indooroopilly are too far away, if you live in the north side, you can go to the Formosa Asian Market at the Aspley Hypermarket. They also have a branch in the CBD (on Mary Street I think) and in the Sunnybank Plaza in Sunnybank. I have bought Japanese curry from them.

Any Asian Grocery shop will sell it... if they dont - theyll know somewhere close by
