Dreams anything to go by?

For the last three or four nights, I've been having very vivid dreams of myself, going into labour and giving birth to a beautiful little girl.

Now, I'm only 15 weeks along, so it's too early for me to find out, but could this be a sign? lol

I have heard this can be true many times. I really thought in my head that I was having a girl, but I had some very real dreams of going into labour and having a boy - guess what I had - A BOY!

I guess in reality it is an old wives tale, as there is no way to prove it, but I know that in a lot of cases it has proven true.

I had dreams about having both a boy and a girl before I found out, but the most vivid was a girl I think, and I'm having a bubba girl :D

ive been having lots of boy dreams, but i already know im having a girl :laughing:

towards the end i was having dreams of labour :confused:

anyway one involved me giving birth and attempting to hold the baby :D to be told i had to wait as there was another one in there i had to get out :rolleyes:

In very early pregnancy with DS I had a vivid dream that I had a 4 year old boy with brown hair. I now have DS who is 3 and has brown hair :D....so in my case the one 'gender' dream I had proved to be true.

In all my vivid dreams I was always having a boy, I had so many of them I convinced myself that it probably was a boy - but turned out to be a girl. I still had doubts after the ultrasound though as I kept dreaming about a little boy lol!

For me.. no, I have had boy baby dreams since I was pregnant with DD1, I don't think I had any certain gender with DD2 just dreams about giving birth and having a baby.

when i had my m/c that night i had a dream of a baby boy who was 2 and he said stop crying mummy i am coming back to you and a month later i was pregnant again and then gave birth to that lil boy and today he looks like that lil boy in my dream :goodvibes:

I had a dream about having a little baby boy when I fell pregant & I gave birth to a baby boy. Could be a sign!!! :)

a friend dreamt that we were expecting a boy.. we're not expecting yet and we won't be finding out so i don't know how much store to put by it but damn i want to believe it, even though i desperately want a girl, cos it means that we'll have a baby

With my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies I dreamt of my Nana who had passed when DS1 was 18months old. I'd ask her is she was sending me a girl? No matter how much I tried to visualise her with a pink blanket in her arms it was blue. hence I have a total of 3 boys. This time its different I try to visualise a blue blanket and it is pink. so I'm not sure what to think yet until the the morph scan in another 10 weeks.

Just thought I'd add.. we found out today that we are indeed expecting a little GIRL. So sometimes it can be right!

I dreampt about a girl so convincingly that I didn't believe Jasper was a boy, even after the scan, even after seeing a clear image of his winky, until he was born. THEN, okay, sure, he's a boy.

I know my dreams mean nothing as I've only ever dreamt of having boys whilst pregnant with my son and my daughter. Last night I had a very vivid dream of having another little boy despite the fact I'm 21 weeks with another little girl and I'm really thrilled to be having another daughter. :p
