Avanza

Is anyone or has anyone taken Avanza 30mg.

My Psychiatrist has prescribed me with Mirtazapine AKA Avanza 30mg to be taken at night.

How did it go for you?
Did it work?
Did you take it with another Anti Depressant?

So i now take 225mg Effexor Daily in the morning & 30mg Mirtazapine Daily in the evening.

Effexor to help with my depression and Mirtazapine to assist with sleep and eating habits. I will only sleep for a max of 4 hours a night and even then it is broken sleep and I have to force myself to eat as i don't feel like eating and have to force dinner down so Kobi will eat his dinner. Kobi at the age of 6yo is having larger serves than me. And after eating dinner i feel :barf:. ( no i not pregnant and no i don't make myself sick)

I used to take Avanza for depression & insomnia. It worked, but made me eat like a maniac. Really, I'd just keep going and never feel full. So it might work really well for you. Give it a few weeks and see. I take zoloft now and still have sleep problems, but can keep my weight normal. Good luck :)
