Side effects? Karicare Thickener

We started DD on Karicare Thickener with her NAN-HA Gold 1 formula. She is 10wks on Monday. I was wondering if anyones bubs had any side effects with the thickener?

DD hadnt slept right for 2 nights, and was crying alot esp after a feed then chucking up. But ever since putting her on the thickener yesterday she is so much more settled, no chuck ups and slept for 6hrs straight last night - thats a first!!!
Anyway before bed last night she pooped a green poo which is normal for her... she usually does 1 poo a day and it's green with a bit of yellow in the middle (LOL). But then this morning she pooped again it sounded watery but when i changed her it wasnt but it was all yellow? Is this normal?

I heard thickener can cause constipation or diahhrea? Is constipation only when the poo comes out hard or when they strain to poo?
Is diahhrea when the poop is watery and a few times a day?

My DD is on thickener and its been amazing.

Her bowel movements did change but when I had a follow up with her peadiatrician he said it all sounded normal.

Like you I expected constipation and when she started pooing more often I was schocked but Im used to it now.

How many times is she pooing and what colour?

she has started solids now so its all over the place.

Poos around 1-4 times a day andwhere from green to yellow

She's done two yellow ones in 1 day!

im pretty sure i read somewhere that green can be a sign of too much iron? Yellow is quite normal. DD2's poos are usually abit of both but mostly yellow with bit of green.
Shes on Nan HA gold too :)

i had my ds on it and he got worse. he had the worst wind from it and his poo was dreadful, he's scream for ages and not sleep.
my sisters baby had the same reaction.

we both took our babies off it and they went back to normal.
i wouldn't personally use it again
