In shock!!!!!

Okay, so I posted on here a few days ago about how I thought I may be pregnant...

According to the ultrasound I had today, there's a good chance that I am!!!!!!!!!!!! :yelclap:

Urine tests are still showing negative. Had a blood test done today, and also ultrasound. At first glance, the sonographer said there was no sign of pregnancy......until he had a closer look! There is some speck in my uterus that *may* be a really early pregnancy!!! :D He said it is too small to tell at this stage...

The thing with this, is that this truly would be a miracle baby! I was told two years ago that I was infertile, and that if by any chance that I was to fall pregnant, it would most likely be ectopic.

I am completely in shock and awe......!!!

I get the results tomorrow afternoon...although this was a completely unplanned and unexpected, I am really starting to get excited! I never thought my son would have a sibling!

That speck could be something for sure!

i had a scan done at 4w2d and there was a teeny speck which the ultrasound person said COULD be something. Turns out it was.:yes: I hope it is for you too!

I would have thought though that if it's far enough to start showing on ultrasound, that urine tests would be positive by now?? I just did another test then, using First Response, and it was negative! I just want to know already!!! I'm nearly 6 days overdue. I tested positive with DS the day before I was due!

The waiting would be horrible but hopefully it goes quick. And I would also think that if its showing up in an ultra sound it should in your urine but you never know :-)

er no it doesn't.

Sorry Shaylee, I don't want you to get your hopes up, but negative urine results and a "speck in my uterus" aren't really pointing to you being pregnant. Hopefully I'm proved wrong!

Well actually....my dr said that the body doesn't start producing the hormones until at least 3 days after implantation, and implantation can occur between 4-7 days after fertilization. It's possible that conception was just 7 days ago. So that would explain the negative tests so far. Sonographer said if it is a pregnancy, as it seems to be, it is only really early.

I hope you're proved wrong too :p

Okay, so...blood results were in today. Ultrasound won't be until tomorrow. I am pregnant, but levels are only 8....and I've been bleeding on and off all day :crying:

I will be having more blood tests to check whether the levels are rising or falling...

Sorry to hear about the bleeding but hopefully *fingers crossed* things turn out ok. Hoping the tests show a rise & the bleeding is nothing.

My ultrasound results came back in. It seems like it's ectopic.... :crying:

This is what it says:

" The uterus is somewhat globular. There is a small structure in the endometrium about 3mm in diameter. This may possibly be a pseudosac, so the possibility of ectopic pregnancy should be considered"

I'm going to be having bloods taken on Monday and Thursday, and another ultrasound the week after to find out more.

I hate not having a clue what's going on!! :( My doctor really didn't explain much to me. And I kinda feel like it's not being looked into soon enough.

Is there anyone who has been told that early on it looked like a "pseudosac", but turned out to be a normal healthy pregnancy????

I dont know much about all this but I know how it feels when you havent been told much..... Whenever I got news of some sort I could never think of questions to ask would always think of them later..... Id then go see the dr again..... Can you make an app to go see him early next week??? then you can find out as much as possible thats what he is there for, and tell him all ur concerns.

Hi Shayley.

I was originally told i was carrying twins, one in my ovary and one in the uterus. It turned out that the 'thing' in my uterus wsa the pseudosac.

I was treated with methotrexate to avoid having to lose my ovary.

Fingers crossed that everything works out ok for you.

If you think there is anything I may be able to help you with please don't hesitate to PM me. There are so many different options to treat ectopics.

I truely hope that there's a baby in there and that the mistaken :)
