Just thought I would share the following message from the mercy:
"Good news!
Victoria’s Minister for Health has approved the go ahead of Victoria ’s first Breastmilk Bank at Mercy Hospital for Women.
Over the past year the Foundation has been busy fundraising to make this facility a reality through the purchase of specialised equipment and donor tracking software. We have also been working very closely with the State Government to ensure that all regulatory requirements are in place before donations of breastmilk can be accepted and administered.
Having completed our trialling of this equipment, and now with the approval of the State Government, we will be able to accept donations of breastmilk in the very near future."
