Improving chances of conception?

DH and I have been half hartedly ttc for the last 12 months or so. He is 34 and I am 26. We have 2 children together aged 7 & 3.

I have had 2 mc in the past. Is there anything we can do to improve our chances of conceiving? I was considering going to my GP to get a full blood workup esp. my hormones.

I have a 28 day cycle and it is fairly predictible.

Going to get a full blood work up is a really good idea and getting your husband to have a semen analysis may also be very helpful. Just because you’ve had two children together before doesn’t mean that things (as far as sperm health is concerned) have stayed the same—particularly as fertility (male and female) can be impacted by environmental and lifestyle factors.

Beyond, further testing there is so much you can do naturally to optimise your chances of creating another healthy baby.
