mothers group - Logan/Southside Brisbane area

hello new mums in Logan on Brisbane's southside. I am looking to see if there is a mothers group I can join.

I am 30 years old and I have a 4 week old son. This is the first time in my adult life i am not either working or studying so I am looking for some adult interaction.

Our little one is three weeks old and we live in the Logan area. Not actually part of an official mothers group but have a few friends and my sister in the same position so thought we would start our own.

I'm looking for a mum's/playgroup as well in the Loganholme area. (Behind the Hyperdome) I actually grew up in this area but have been living down the Gold Coast and have had my 2 kids (2yo & 3mth old) down here. I am apart of a fairly active playgroup down here (when I say active - i mean going to all the community centre stuff etc for both the kids and me). But want to find some things to do more locally! I'm always keen for a chat! Not moving up there till start of June but can meet up earlier!! Please PM me!

There is a playgroup near the hyperdome i used to goto its called Kookaburras nook in Shailer park primary school. I went there last year the mums were great there. Would have kept going but started full time work. It was thursday mornings from memory. Check out the palygroup aust site.Hope that helps

I live at springwood and work part time and am basically looking for the same thing as have a boy who's 2yrs old unfortunately I only have Tuesday and Thursday to do anything, I would love some adult conversation as well the only thing is that I am 40yrs old I hope that dosen't scare you off as most people seem to have a problem with that still these days.
