View Full Version : Recipe for Pasta Bake?
Hi ,
Am attempting to make a Pasta Bake tonight .
I'm going to use a Dolmio Tomato, Onion & Garlic sauce... And I want to add mince to it...
Sooooooo how do I go about doing this?
Any suggestions?
TIA! :D

Hi
I would just cook the mince and add the sauce to that....cook pasta....combine the two in a baking dish...top with cheese and pop it in to the oven at 180 degrees until the cheese is melted! Hope that makes sense!:)

Usually i make my own sauce but if i use a jar i fry up the mince with onions and garlic and then add herbs and a little tomato paste and let it cook for a little while longer then add the jar of sauce and simmer for a few minutes. Then once the pasta is boiled, drain and combine with sauce our it all in a over proof dish and top with cheese and bake till cheese is golden brown!!
I actually made this last night but i just used a tin of crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, onions, garlic and herbs i left out the mince and it still turned out great!! the kids couldn't get enough of it lol.
