Just want to ask a general question : do you find that your child/children are always getting sick this time of year? My oldest goes to daycare twice a week and, I swear, he must pick up every germ in the place and brings it home! In turn my other child gets it and if its bad enough, both myself and DH get it. This time it been vomiting and really bad diarrheorra (don't think that's spelt correctly!). If anyone else is experiencing this and has any remedies, etc, could you please let me know.

Yes!!! According to that show What's Good For You, it is because we spend so much more time inside and our immune system weakens or something.
DS1 though, he NEVER gets sick. He never wears jumpers, even if it's only 2 degrees outside. He always feels hot. We always used to tell him to wear a jumper, but now we don't bother. It's obviously good for him if he is never sick.

ooops! ella just hit send on my laptop!
was going to say we have only just got over that gastro (went for 2 weeks) and now we've been hit with some coughing thing with an awful running nose. i have never ever been so sick in my whole life and neither has hubby. the lady who runs the local deli told me she always took her child out of daycare during winter and only put her back in during the warmer months due to all the illness in winter.
think i might take that on board for next year. being 7 months pregnant and sick with a toddler is NO FUN!!
hope you feel better soon - hope we all do!!
