I'd just like to say thankyou to bubhub!
I was reading the posts on breast feeding last week and came across the signs and symptoms of masitis and the other usefull tips!
Then on sunday night my breast was sore and just thought it was due to having an engorged breast, monday i woke up and it was no better and i was cold and hot at the same time runny nose and a massive headach! I rung the ABA straight away and she said it looks like you have Masitis OUCH get yourself to the doctors straight away! so i did this and now am on anitbiotics..
I am in not as much pain now and it is clearing up :) , but it made me think that if i had not have read about the signs i would of just thought i had a cold them maybe latter on in the afternoon i would of contacted my nurse and she would of told me then to get to doctors
So a big thankyou to the ladies :D and also now i am going to the libaray to borrow some books recomended as i need to read up as much as i can
