Hi,
I'm new to the forums and bub hub. Currently undergoing IVF/ICSI to try and get a wee little bundle of joy.

Just looking to have some communication with people undergoing the same thing and to have some resources when I hopefully :fingerscrossed: get pregnant.

Im going to start and icsi cycle soon as well.
Im a bit scared but im going to give it a try.
Which clinic are you going through?
Im with Monash ivf on Gold Coast.
I have 4 children from amy previous partner.
My new partner and i would like a bub but he is infertile so we have to do the icsi thing with his frozen sperm.
Have you started your cycle yet?

Hi all,

Mel I am going through Sydney IVF in Newcastle. DH has a very low sperm count, to the degree whrere they say he essentially has none, so ICSI is pretty much our only option.
Started my cycle a few weeks ago now, been jabbing myself for about a week and a half. Got a second U/S tomorrow so fingers crossed that follies have grown and we can schedule egg collection.
Congrats halloweenmum on 2 little ivf miracles.

Good luck Mel and keep in touch.
I will update tomorrow.

Wow how are you feeling so far?
I went to SYD ivf Lismore for a quote 2 years ago and it was close to $10,000.I have heard they are very good though.
We decided on Monash as the fertilty Dr seemed to have alot more time for us and suggested my partner has his sperm tested to see how it is now even though he was pretty much told years ago it wasn't good.
You must be so excited.
Keep in touch.
im seeing my specialist on Friday.
talk soon

Grebecci & Mel
When we were referred to IVF late last yr my husband had only 6% normal morphology and 9% sperm count. His 2nd sample taken a month later was worse again. Despite this we still had success with fertilizing 3/6 viable eggs in our first cycle and 6/6 in our 2nd. The quality of our embies was not great in cycle #1 but our FS now believes this was due to egg quality not sperm. He has been taking Menavit for 4+ months and trying to prepare his body for a baby as we do - it seems to have worked, so keep this is mind. You'll be suprised how quickly the quality/ quantities of sperm can improve.
Good Luck

Good arvo,

EPU sched for Wed, looks like they have 4-5 follies. Hopefully they are good ones.

Mel- Sydney IVF are expensive but their success rates are really good and my FS is second to none, he's great. I think it's just so important to find someone u r comfortable with.

hopfulthisyr - DH has <1% normal sperm count but his morphology has increased with menavit, our fs recommended it as well to try and get them a bit more 'normal'. it's good stuff, expensive though.
