Has any one had any luck with natural gender selection technics?
This time around I would really love a baby girl... :)

We tried dtd on the day of ovulation, for a boy, but have been told we are expecting a girl..
Its really 50/50 with what you conceive though. Good luck :)

Probably it's the luck of the draw but....
With our first we had no preference but my diet was apparently more boy friendly and we got our boy. :)
Our second we hoped for a girl but all I did was a vinegar douche prior to sex a few times and we got our girl. :)
Now with this one again we were happy either way and didn't try anything but after we found out I was pregnant we know exactly when and it was 3 days before ovulation which would in theory suggest another girl, and I just found out we are expecting another daughter. :)
But who really knows, maybe we are destined to have what we have. Good luck

hi there! I agree with pp'- its probably luck of the draw.... but~
with ds we did nothing, got a boy
with dd i ate the girl diet- ate lots of yoghurt, gave up caffene (as did my dh) i cant remember what else- google ttc girl diet and itll come up... dh had hot baths before bd i also took cranberry supplements and calcuim supplements
i dont believe in the stopping before ovulation so we dtd straight through. I think if anything works its changing the ph of your cervical mucus -JMO!!
anyway- we got our girl!

I wanted a girl so bad this time. I ate the girls diet, took calcium and magnizium tablets and DTD 3 days before O. At my 20 weeks ultrasound the lady thinks:confused: it is a boy so didn't work for me. I am having a 3d ultrasound later this month bc I am so sure this one is a girl and I want to know for sure, I don't like that she said he has his legs close but that could be a boy bit there. I asked her how sure she was and she said don't go painting the walls blue.
Next time I will be doing ph level as well as DH's and I think I will also put DH on the tablets, if this one isn't a girl.
We tried 'some' trying for a girl methods (not all)
see my sig for results :)
so no. didnt work for us - we are planning one more bub after this one, so next bub we will be trying it all. at least then if we get another son, we know it was just meant to be! :D
we did nothing for ds1. ds2 we tried the timing but as it turned out i actually o'ed earlier then expected. this time around we did a fair bit of girl 'tatics' and we were told at our 19 week anatomy scan...99% certain its a girl. *shrug* won't beleive it tho until i see her in the flesh but there was no obvious boy 'bits' on the scan and my two boys were like "look at me mum see what i've got"
We had sex on days 9, 10, 11 and 12 of my cycle hoping for a girl and on my second cycle we fell pregnant with our now 15 month old DD.
We didn't really "try" for a particular sex with DS1 although when I look back there were a lot of things we did that are supposed to be "boy friendly". With DS2 we tried the whole timing thing (2 day cut off prior to O), but in hindsight we also did a lot of boy friendly things so shouldn't be surprised he is a he!
I think there is some merit to Gender Swaying methods - when followed properly the evidence does seem to suggest there is more to it than just wishful thinking, but in saying that I realise there are some people who do go to the extreme and still get the opposite of what they tried for.
FWIW, I think the most important things when it comes to gender swaying are ensuring the pH of both partners is at ideal levels for the sex you are hoping for, following the diets and from what I've read & seen statistics on, I also think individual biorythms & lunar phases do have an impact.
Good luck getting your girl :)
