Do we do party games ?

DS's first birthday is in a month and we have 10 kids coming as part of a family/friends bbq of about 40 and the age range is from 11 months to 7 years.
At first I wasn't going to do any games, but am guessing the older kids would like to do something.
So do we do games ? And if so what games ? And then what do you have as prizes when the age range is so spread ?
I was thinking pass the parcel, and it's an Igglepiggle themed party, so maybe pin the blanket on Igglepiggle.

DD2's party is tomorrow and we're having games for the older kids, like sit on the balloon, pin the tail on the baby (havent thought that one out yet lol).

As for prizes, I'd probably just suggest who ever wins get to go pick a prize and then have a little box with prizes suitable for everyone. Maybe?

I didn't do games for her birthday until she was 3 and at 3 all we did was pass the parcel and freeze. At 5 and 6 we did pin the tail on the donkey and some running races and had a treasure hunt and did musical chairs. The prizes were things like little yoyos, a nice pencil with rubber, little bottle of bubbles, and other small things like that.

Thanks for the ideas....I'm just so lost lol..that and I got lost in the fairy bread...mmmm fairy bread lol....so have to get back on track. I love the picking from a box idea and I can use MummaBear03's ideas to fill it...so thanks girls :thumbsup:
