At what time did other mum's book in at the North West private Brisbane?

The lady at reception said I would have to wait till the 15th week of pregnancy:eek:
Dose this sound right, or should I ring back and try again:detective:

I was 5w when I tried to book in and they said the same thing to me. I booked into antenatal classes while I was there and I actually got a call from them on Monday asking how I was booked into classes but not into the hospital  I told the woman I was told to wait until 16w, she asked how far along I was, I said 14w and she said 'oh, you can book in now' and booked me in on the spot. Guess they've got to wait till the highest risk of m/c is over.

Hi there!

Yep, about 15 weeks sounds about right. Ring again then (or a week or so before that) and you will get your pre-admission package sent out to you. If you are already booked into an Ob that delivers at Northwest, then you are pretty much in. But you still must do all the required paperwork and get it in ASAP after they send it out so that they start a file for you.

All the best! I found it to be a great hospital. :)

From what I have heard that sounds right to book in at around 15 weeks.
