Well, last night i found out my test results - some of you may recall my post about my horror internal u/s.

I have pco, endometriosis and insulin resistance. My hormones (lsh/fsh) were also extremely imbalanced.

So, im off to see Professor Eden again, also Dr Chapman who is a fertility specialist, ive not heard of him/her?

I have to have a Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy, also a sleep monitoring studies ( not sure why about that one, i rarely snore but she thinks i have sleep apnea as i wake several times during the night! I did try to explain DF snores like a truck and its him waking me up!)

I also have to do another blood glucose test.

Yippee for me.

I know its something that is a process and will be fixed eventually but right now im just a bit lost.

Double :hugs: :hugs: to you Djf

:fingerscrossed: now you know what the issues are you can work to the BFP.

I have heard that the Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy can "clean the pipes" and lead to a quick BFP.

What does sleep apnea have to do with TTC - I snore loads and loads

Yes, im wondering about the sleep apnea myself, shes worried im so tired (apart from the effects of what ive got) and guess she wants to cover her bases. Still, im scratching my head!

You poor thing! Chin up though... as Bolli said, now you know the problems you can work through them... I have been recently diagnosed with PCOS after suspecting it for a while and Im kind of almost glad because now it answers past questions about why im not ovulating at all etc and I can move on and get treatment.

BTW I assume you know that endo is often 'cured' after having a baby! Even more reason for you! :p

I bookmarked this site a while ago incase i ever needed to have one, you might find it helpful to know what to expect:

Sorry DJF about your test results.
The apnea can cause extended periods of oxygen deprivation to brain as well as to other organs and tissues in the body. Hence if they arent getting enough oxygen then they dont work as effectively.
Goodluck with your appts and I hope you get your BFP really soon.

Thanks everyone!

Im sure i will have questions after i see the fertility specialist. Esp if they put me on clomid or whatever else. But ive been told that you cant be put on fertility drugs unles your bmi is 30 or under and mine is currently a whopping 36.9.

I will just be excited when i start to loose weight!
