Hi everyone
My parnter is away at the moment, only until the end of the month. Early september he is deploying overseas for 7 months. I am so overwhelmed by it all at the moment.
So far this year, he has been away for 5 months. He was home for the entire month of July & left last weekend. My main concern is my 8 month old DS. He got so used to having DF around, I can tell that he is missing him alot. He is very grizzly & looks around everytimes he hears a noise. It hurts me to know he is hurting.
I am going to buy a video camera & send dvds to DF when he is overseas but what can I do to help DS remember him. I was telling DF last night how I point out pictures on the wall & say 'dada' but DF got upset at that because he doesnt want him to know him as a picture on the wall.
I know DS wont know DF when he comes home next April, how can I help everyone settle into being a family again?
