GTT tomorrow (eek)!

I have the GTT tomorow I am soooo not looking forward to it at all. I completely lost track of time tonight too so I only managed to scoff half my dinner before I realised that I was 30 mins past the time I was meant to begin fasting by!:eek:

My fingers are crossed that it comes back negative though!:fingerscrossed: I despperately want to go through the midwife clinic this pg, but have been told that if I get GD this time I won't be allowed:crying:

good luck with it....horrible I know. I had GD with DS and then second time around with DD I was borderline, went for the 2nd GTT and it came back just ok! It was sooooo nice to go thru the rest of the pregnancy without having to worry about the foods you eat!

Don't worry about the 1/2 hour thing, it won't matter.

I also had GD with first baby and managed to escape it with this one, so there is hope :smiliedance:

Well I am back from the test! I don't get the results until friday. But omg do I feel like a pin cushion, my veins kept going flat so every time she put the needle in she would have to take it out and redo it:banghead:


So six needles later (3 actually taking the blood) my arm feels like it is going to drop off!

LOL... I had my 2nd lot of GTT today... blergh... my arms look like they belong to a junkie! So many needles... so much blood...
