Hi,
I am trying to find a good swim school for my infant who will be turning 6 months soon. The closest that I can find is Craigie leisure centre. However, I had a look at the Lifesaving WA site and it doesn't seem to be listed as an endorsed swim school, and I really want my child to learn all the safety aspects of swimming.
I have read some good reviews for the Swim School WA in Merriwa, but it is further than I would really like to travel every week, even though I like the sound of smaller classes.
What are peoples opinions of Joondalup Arena, or Lifecare Swim in Madeley?
Any recommendations are appreciated.
Thanks in Advance,
Anna

I am in Qld and our swim schools have to be Austswim accredited. Maybe check them out to see if they accredit swim schools in your area.

Try Stateswim in joondalup. Both my kids did it and loved it.

We got to Beaumauris Swim School. They are GREAT there and i found them to be cheaper than craigie and joondalup. you can pay in 10 week blocks (a term) which turns out cheaper.

Its for babies, toddlers and children only. i totally recommend it. its now open 7 days but get in quick cos its really popular. they only allow a max of 8 per class tho (30 mins) which i think is great cos you get your individual attention throughout the class. the teachers are really nice and do a really great job teaching you how to teach your little one to swim. we started DD there when she was 6 months old and she's now 18 months old and are still going there. you get certificates too and they even have "Safety Week" where they teach you all about pool/water safety.

check it out....
