can anyone suggest a good creche inn these areas..

Sorry cant suggest a good one, but I would give Mount Eliza House a wide berth - too busy, too many kids just chaos and also the childcare centre on Cranbourne Road think its jolly jumbucks?? This centre cannot follow basic instructions had my DS in there he had a severe dairy intolerence but they continued to give him biscuits (that contained dairy protein just could not get them to understand) and then the final straw for me was when they gave him pasta with cheese - um der he has a dairy intolerence:confused: my friend had her DD in at the same time and had problems with nappy changing, her DD would carry on a bit during a nappy change so they never cleaned her poo off her properly and she would get horrid nappy rash - after a few months we both pulled our kids out there. I have heard some very good things about Piccolo Day Care which is on Overport Road oposite Derinya Primrary school. Have you thought about family day care through the council? I know it can be hit and miss but if you have the time to meet several carers I think as a mum you may find a lady who you really like and feel good about. Thinking about 1 day a week for my DD I like the thought of a small group in a home enviroment one of my friends has hers DD in family day care and raves about it another one of my friends has both of hers in family day care after school I droped her son off at carers house and was amazed to see the lenghth this lady had gone to in her set up, children were happy and entertained I wish my I could get a day with her but she is booked up.

Steer clear of ABC. We ended up transferring from frankston south to frankston and both are shocking. Frankston continued to direct debit us even though we cancelled. If there is a problem, you will have to jump through hoops to get ur money back. :(

I've been told good things about family day care though :)

I would recommend the ABC on frankston/cranny road in langwarrin..
My DS has been going there since febuaray, and they are fantatsic...

They feed them well, regulary change them and do anything you ask them to do or not to do!!!

I wasnt a big fan of daycare before he started but now im so glad i put him in (he only goes 1 day though) he has grown so much as person thanks to them!!! They have helped his confidence and he is talking more etc

I used to live in Mt Martha and Long Island Early Learning Centre was the first creche we had our son in and I never had a problem with these guys. I thought the owner there was great. That one is on Overton Road.

If you are willing to go a bit further, like mornington. I have heard good things about little grasshoppers in main street and the creche thats attached to to maternal health centre in Cromwell street is suppossed to be fantastic. For the life of me I can not remember the name of it.
