Greetings to all the new August mums and all of the mums to be still waiting!!
I am very proud to announce the arrival of my baby daughter Romilly Jade.
She was born via elective c-section on 16th August 2005 at 13.55hrs weighing 2.83 kg or 6lbs 4 oz, length 49 cm and head circumference 33.5cm.
Although she is very little and petite, she is perfectly formed and very healthy!!! She is absolutely gorgeous and according to the paediatrician, a model baby - a great feeder, good sleeper and great temperment. We couldn't be happier.
The birth went very well, smoothly and no problems, DH Troy was there taking pictures and very excited to meet his new girl!! First day at home yesterday went well too and first night at home was okay, not too unsettled.
I've still got some pain in the deep tissue near the c-setion scar, the wound is healing great and I'm just talking it easy (DH has two weeks off to help us settle in at home) and enjoying being a new mum.
Its been great to get back online and catch up with all the new arrivals!!
Will try to post up a picture as soon as I work out how to do it.
