Has anyone ever held one for their phography. I want to start planning an exhibition and I'm not exactly sure where I should start. I know what I want it to be for and have a rough idea of how I want it to go and that I would like it to be for charity but that's it.
I would love to exhibit, but I dont have the balls... to put it bluntly.
I used to help my mum run a community art show in my home town though and it really was quite a lot of work. I guess if you were just going to exhibit your works you could approach a gallery or find a local cummunity art show.
Or you could approach a local cafe to put some on their walls for you.....

I have a specific social issue I wanted to photograph maybe over the next year or so in a photojournalistic style. I am only in the very elemental stages of mapping out what it is exactly that I would like to get across and for people to see so was wondering what I should do. I know you can apply for government grants for the arts so I'm wondering about that as well.
well I dont know much about grants but I do know a guy got one to sit in an 'installment' and drink and regurgitate milk all day!!!!!! that is so wrong but if he can do it then I dont see why you couldnt for your project. Look into Rotary or Lions club for funding and help with exhibiting, they are usually keen to support local projects....
Sorry I cant be more helpful though.
