Which vaporiser to buy?

I have decided that I am buying a vaporiser for my DD - she is 10 months old and since going in to DC and contacntly has runny nose and now has a chesty cough...

I have read everything about the fact the RCH no longer recomends them and that they can cause mould.

So which would you reccomend out of the Euky bear/Vicks/TAAV and hippo ones? is there others you would recommend

I had a Taav originally and I found it slightly more effective and really nice and quiet but it broke in no time and I've heard a few others say the same. It also seemed a bit "bitty".

I have a Vicks now and it's slightly louder and produces slightly less steam and you have to use ONLY Vicks brand oil stuff :rolleyes: but I do like that it's just two parts, you stick them together and turn it on. I voted Vicks and I haven't had any mould in my 3 years of using them.

I just put DD in her bouncer in the bathroom when I have a shower and the steam does wonders.

DD has chronic asthma and often gets chest problems. We use the Vicks brand vapouriser. Never had any problems...easy 2 use and clean :-)
