Slow Cooker: Grated Vegies

I have a meat pie recipe that I make and was just thinking that I could maybe make it in the slow cooker. The only thing not sure about is that I add grated carrot and zucchini to hide vegies and bulk it up a bit. My question is can will the grated vegies be ok in the slow cooker?

Yes there will be great. They will turn to mash and become part of the gravy. Pumpkin is also great for adding unseen flavor.
