Is it normal for bubs to be a bit grizzly? We just started solids about a week and 1/2 ago and just that last two days we have been having two very small solid feeds per day.

Bub is getting a little grizzly (he is normally the happiest baby imaginable!) and very clingy. Normally I would leave him on his play mat under his favourite mobile and he could lie there chatting to himself for ages but he won't do that the last couple of days. Is this all normal and related to feeding? Or could it be his age? He's nearly 6 months.

When do they start the separation anxiety?

I believe around the 6 month mark, they can get a bit clingy and grizzly.

Tayla is just over 6 months and she was the same when we first started solids but we believe she is also teething at the same time as when she isn't well, she just wants to be held!

Hi there,
My daughter has just started solids and has been the same - grizzly and has also started waking up during the middle of the night (which she hasn't done since 12 weeks) and crying or crying in her sleep.
I have also noticed that she had not been pooing as usual and she was actually constipated!!!! from the exta solid feeds.
I gave her some apple juice and water and she went that morning thankfully but it was a struggle, so will make sure she gets water regularly now.
Hope this helps :)
