This may sound like im selfish which im not but that's beside the point.

Why is it so hard for people to understand that i just go any where let alone at the drop of a hat.

Before i go some where i have to make sure i can get it, which isnt easy. Means DF & I have to try places out on the weekend to suss out whether i can get there on my own.

Add in im now chasing 3 kids in 3 different directions.

:geek:

Frustrates me more than anything.

I think people who have kids of their own have no excuse really as to why they cant understand this. We all know how crazy it is just taking one crawler/toddler out let alone 3.

It would be frustrating though, I can imagine.

I don't know why they don't understand, maybe they just don't realize what it is like?

:hugs:

I cut a lot of people off because it just made me feel like **** because they had no idea what it is like to walk in my shoes they judged everything I did and said and every time I tried to explain why I was told it was my fault and I was told I was wrong and that I should do what they were saying and it would be easy, I ended up upset every time I saw them because they just don't understand, it's sad but in the end I'm happier now :)

People often find it hard too see outside their own little world . I had a 'friend' annoyed that we couldn't make her DS's 3rd birthday part. It was at 5:30pm, on a school night, when DH was on night shift. So I would have had to lug all the kids at dinner-time and bed-time to a park, near a road, supervise them all, then get them home and to bed, all ready to get to school by 9am the enxt morning . I don't need that added stress in my life thanks!

BTW - the new part of maitland park is good - nice wide gates, wide enough to fit the triple pram through!! And fully fenced for when they are running....even the bit out of the fence on the grass is away from the car-park road - so good for now....well for a little bit until 2 are walking! lol

I think thats more the point. Its not easy to go out, i have to work around sleeps & make sure we're home for at least one. My prams also over a metre wide & doesnt fit many places.

Oh yeah sorry I forgot that height would be an issue.

Life is not easy is it :hugs: I hope you can find a few places close by that suit you and your bubs, they opened a new toddler town thing near me, have you looked at them?

They just don't realise. They do not live your situation so they cannot totally get it like you do.
The best you can do is be patient and explain things to them, and if they still don't get it, then boohoo to them.

They just have no idea :( Even with a toddler and a baby I have problems getting places and in particular my IL's don't understand that we can't just pick up the kids and drive the 3 hours to Newcastle with a day's notice :(
