My beautiful DF left yesterday for Darwin, prior to his deployment. There is a small possibility that he may get sent home before he deploys but since that hasnt come from anyone with rank, I'm assuming it wont happen until I hear otherwise.
I feel so overwhelmed at the moment. We had all of DF's family here for the past week. They left today so now it is just me & DS & it is very quiet and lonely.
I thought I would be ok with him leaving this time - we've said good-bye so many times already this year, I thought it would get easier.... I was wrong. I miss him so much, I want to yell at him for leaving his clothes on the floor or tell him to get off the computer - all the things that have bugged me for the month he was home.
We were lucky to have a month together, it just went so fast. We didnt do half the things we wanted to. :crying:
Sorry for the sad post, just on the emotional rollercoaster at the moment. It will get better.
