:yelclap: Thanks so much.
Even though we aren't expecting yet (still waiting to get BFP), hubby and I have decided to stock up on baby essentials before expenses start rolling in. Initially we thought we'd wait but I'm to impatient lol.
I can't wait to go have a look.:)
Not sure where you are? But there's a big baby store at the Logan Mega Centre. There is also a pram warehouse at Sumner (near Jindalee).
HTH :)

Pram Warehouse - Logan Hyperdome
Babies Galore - Service road near Harvey Norman at Loganholme
Bubs Baby Shops near Ikea
Babyco in Underwood
Babybizz - Logan Road
Bubs is the best IMO.

Pram warehouse in ipswich is my local baby shop, and from personal experience and the experiences from other mums i know, don't bother going there unless you're checking stuff out before you buy it online :)

If you have time on your side and want to start stocking up gradually- I really recommend doing some shopping at Toys r us. There is one at Garden City and they have a Babies r us section and they frequently have really good sales! They often have items 40-50% off- on prams, cots, bath seats, high chairs, rockers, bottles, breast pumps, clothing, etc.
Even though my bub has everything (or everything she needs!) I still check their online catalogue to see what's on sale every Thurs! haha
Pram warehouse is also good- but make sure you join their online mailing list because they often have 20% off everything sales which can save you serious $$$!! They also sell factory seconds on furniture!
Bubs baby store has an ok range- but most things are sold at rrp- meaning you can find them in online stores or in other baby stores on sale days for much cheaper!
(Sale shopping means twice as much stuff! hahaha)

Toys R Us do have great sales but one thing I find with the Garden City one is they never have any stock. Everytime I go in to buy something they are out of stock....and they dont have layby....so annoying.

Ah you ladies are such gems
Thanks very much for the great suggestions. All the places mentioned are easily accessable for me.
MrsFingersCrossed - thank you so much for that great advice. I definitely don't mind a sale at all. And I really don't want to pay an arm and a leg for things bub will grow out off or not like at all.
Ashton08, hmmm that's interesting. Are products cheaper online or is the service really that bad?
Seb&HarleysMum who would have thought toy's r us sold baby products. I will have to make my way there next time I'm at garden city. I don't think I've steped into one since I was a kid myself lol.
Entropy - I went to the Pram warehouse at Sumner Park. Found a cot there on sale that I couldn't resist getting:smiliedance: the ladies there are so friendly.
there's also a full list in our directory...
see this page for nursery stores in the brisbane area, or you can search by category and postcode - look at the blue search box top right (underneath the big ad :)
